Devil Eye

At first glance, a Devil Eye is quite frightening — a knotted, throbbing globe dominated by a giant eye, with curling, bony horns sweeping around from its rear hemisphere.

After that though, it’s not particularly scary.

A Devil Eye has an intimidating attack in its Life Drain ability. For a 14-point monster, this is quite a strong power.

Unfortunately, it lacks the requisite Attack statistic to take full advantage of the Life Drain.

And without a strong Attack rating, it’s rare that the Life Drain takes effect.

Unfortunately, the Devil Eye also lacks defensive skills, which makes it easy to hit.

All of these things combine to make a Devil Eye more scary than anything. Among 14-point monsters, there are stronger options, most commanders would say.
